COST stands as a cornerstone in fostering collaboration among researchers, engineers, and scholars across Europe. Through its pan-European networking approach, COST empowers rapid scientific advancements, ultimately bolstering Europe's research and innovation capacities. Albania has been accepted as the 37th full member of COST by its governing body, during its 203rd meeting in Reykjavik, Iceland. Currently, the Albanian research community's engagement in approximately 10% of COST actions demonstrates a promising start. Notably, professors/researchers from the University of New York Tirana (UNYT) have been actively involved in several COST actions, significantly contributing to Albania's representation within the program.
