Mission:
The European Studies Center is an interdisciplinary research unit of the Institute of European and Balkan Studies. Drawing on the expertise of diverse disciplines such as political science, law, economics, and international relations, and promoting multidisciplinary collaboration between academic researchers across the UNYT’s faculties, the European Studies Center addresses the dynamic transformation of Europe as a political, institutional, societal, and cultural space in interaction with regions and countries situated at the semi-periphery of Europe, broadly understood. It aims to develop cooperations and contacts with centers and research units at regional and European universities focusing on the same subject area. To promote this mission, the European Research Center organizes workshops, seminars, and conferences and aims to increase the policy impact and improve the public debate by involving, collaborating and responding to a variety of audiences.
