TURKISH MAARIF FOUNDATION

Turkish Maarif Foundation serves as a gateway to the international educational arena of Turkey that will contribute to enhancing cultural and civilizational interaction and paving the way for achieving the common wellbeing. Together with the Ministry of National Education, TMF which was established by the enacted law on June 17th, 2016 by the Turkish Parliament is the sole entity authorized to provide educational services abroad.

Turkish Maarif emphasizes the wisdom of different cultures and humanitarian values together with science and modern global trends that leads the world to an unprecedented speed of change.

The Turkish Maarif Foundation has become an important worldwide educational brand in recent years. With the vision of being an institution that is nurturing pure-minded people, is now active in more than 42 countries with 327 schools,11 educational centers, 1 University, and 42 dormitories with approximately 40 thousand students. In Albania, the Turkish Maarif Foundation is present with the University of New York Tirana, New York High School, New York Basic Education, IMSA Elbasan, and IMS Farm Kindergarten. IMS Albania education system is a path to success, by raising children from 3 years old, till they achieve their dreams.

*University of New York Tirana was acquired by the Turkish Maarif Foundation in 2018. Nearly 1,000 students from 16 countries are taking classes at the university. Changing its educational approach after being acquired by Maarif, the university has launched its Learn and Practice project this year, allowing students to study and work in the fields they are interested in.
