Study Visit at the Youth Center “PO”

UNYT is delighted to share the impactful sessions organized as part of the EU Health Issues course, led by the esteemed lecturer, Dr. Elona Gjebrea. Two informative sessions were held in collaboration with Dr. Lindita Myzyri, a doctor from the youth center “PO,” for our UNYT students in Spring 2023. The topic of discussion revolved around “Reproductive Health and Comprehensive Sexual Education,” aligning with the EU health syllabus. Approximately 10 UNYT students (8 females and 2 males) actively participated in both sessions.

The main objective of these training sessions was to enhance young individuals’ understanding of comprehensive sexual education and the legal context of reproductive rights. Students expressed their belief that these sessions, structured as open hours, held immense value in their everyday lives. They were highly satisfied with the content discussed, finding it to be aligned with their expectations. The students, professor, and the doctor at the center were commended for their effective methodology, which greatly contributed to the sessions’ success.
