UNYT and Istanbul University | An Academic Visit

Istanbul University (IU) hosted an evaluation meeting of the “International Symposium on Turkish Language Teaching and Turcology ” organized by UNYT, which was held in Tirana on 07-09 September 2022. Present at the meeting were: Turkish Maarif Foundation (TMF) President Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün, UNYT Chair of the Board of Administration and member of TMF Board of Trustees, Mr. Mahmut M. Özdil, UNYT Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan Erdemir, Rector of IU Prof. Dr. Mahmut AK, IU Turkic Studies Institute Director Prof. Dr. Mustafa Balcı, IU Director of the Institute of Turkic Studies and Head of Eurasian Political, Social, Economic and Cultural Studies Department Prof. Dr. Ayşe Zişan Furat, IU Department of Applied Linguistics Lecturer Prof. Dr. Deniz Melanlıoğlu, Head of Turkish and Foreign Language Department of TMF Prof. Dr. İbrahim Gültekin, Head of European and Balkan Countries Department of TMF, Mr. Kemal Bulut, TMF staff Ms. Büşra Pehlivanlı and Ms. Dilara Aydın. The gathering included a discussion of the next symposium, which will be taking place in 2023.
