“Promoting Teaching and Wellbeing” | Academic Training
On December 10th, University of New York Tirana organized the training “Promoting Teaching and Wellbeing” for the International Maarif School of Kosovo & New York Basic Education teachers at UNYT East Campus.
The opening ceremony of the training was attended by the Country Representative of TMF in Kosovo, Mr. Oğuz Hamza Yılmaz, TMF in Albania Staff, Mr. Abdullah Gülçimen, NYS Prinicipal Mr. Hasan Dede, Rector of UNYT, Prof. Dr. Erkan Erdemir, and Dr. R. Feridun Elgün – Administrator of UNYT.
More than 100 teachers received training in two sessions. The first session was on the topic “Learning and management of the classroom,” conducted by UNYT’s Head of the Psychology Department, Dr. Besmira Lahi. The second session was on “Wellbeing in teachers and students,” performed by Dr. Redona Dudushi and Elona Mustafaraj, MSc.
This training is part of UNYT’s intention to share its expertise and enrich the professional experience of academia in Albania and the region.
