Hello everyone!
My name is Stela Hoxha. Together with Klea Beqja and Kristel Haxhia we proudly represented our university and Albanian law students in the Moot Court Competition, taking place in Strasbourg, France, on September 27, 2022. Moreover, this experience isn’t just a competition; it is every law student’s dream. Why? Because we had the chance to study with lawyers and judges from the European Court of Human Rights and also visit the most important institutions of the European Union. Let me start from the beginning. This study trip was entirely provided by European Council.
On our first day, we were accommodated in the European Youth Center in Strasbourg, where we could meet other students from all over the world. Our second day’s agenda consisted of visiting the European Court of Human Rights, where we had a private session of questions and answers with one of the judges of the Court.
On our third day, we made preparations for the Moot Court Competition with some assistant lawyers of the Court. Later on, we visited the European Council, where the competition was held as well. On our fourth day, we had the possibility to visit the city and its main attractions. This study trip was a great experience that will help us improve our study field and open our doors in the future.I would really like to thank our professors who helped us through this journey: Av. Andrea Mazelliu M.Sc., Prof. Mirela Kapo, LLM Hektor Ruci, and Av. Ledja Burnazi M.Sc.
Hoping to see other hardworking students of my university again in the next Moot Court Competition!
