“Challenges of hearing constitutional claims in Albania” | Forum by Mgj. Përparim Kalo
Yesterday, March 17th, the Justice of the Constitutional Court Hon. Përparim Kalo held an open forum with the law students and shared his professional experience as a lawyer, consultant, and lately justice at the Constitutional Court. Justice Kalo highlighted to the audience the process of how a constitutional court decision is written. Justice Kalo emphasized the differences between the individual appeal on the constitutionality of a certain law provision and the appeal based on the violation of the due process of law.
At the end of the Forum, Justice Kalo conveyed the message that our Constitutional Court is a mechanism of utmost importance that serves to maintain the balances of doing justice and abstract constitutional review. The event was moderated by Dr. Iur. Jola Gjuzi, Lector of Law at UNYT.
