MUN Albania 2021 “Access to Health – A global fight for life and justice”

?Following a pandemic-caused, two-year gap, MUN Albania 2021 “Access to Health”, commenced yesterday.
?Marking the day’s highlight, the Opening Ceremony brought together friends and supporters of the MUN Initiative and UN Association Albania, precisely:
Ms. Fiona McCluney, UN Resident Coordinator;
Mr. Gazmend Turdiu, Director of the directory for the Security Council at MEFA;
Dr. Besmira Lahi,Chair of the Department of Psychology, University of New York Tirana;
Luca Tesei Li Bassi, Secretary-General;
Deborah Lika, Conference Manager;
?The opening ceremony brought forward talks on the importance of Model UN as a non-formal education platform and for exercising the values of the United Nations; on Albania’s priorities to the UNSC, the UN organ which is also being simulated in this edition; for how MUNs are a space where youth believe in their voice and meaningfully exercise it.
