Juna Hoxha – EYP President – University of New York Tirana

?MEET EYP PRESIDENT!
Hello! My name is Juna Hoxha, I’m 20 and a sophomore, majoring in Economics at the University of New York Tirana. Currently, I am also President of the European Youth Parliament Albania (EYP Albania). I have been a part of this organization for almost 3 and a half years now.
?EYP is a non-partisan NGO where informal education and the well-being of the participants are at its core. We discuss current European issues and work on creating resolutions for each one of them, depending on the committees that we are allocated to throughout each event. EYP brings together young Europeans from ?40 different countries and teaches them a healthy debate culture, core European values, as well as active citizenship. ?In addition, EYP Albania has always been closely collaborating with UNYT and the Maarif Foundation, and it was due to this cooperation that I continued my studies at UNYT. An event back in 2018 introduced me to the wonderful community at UNYT and all the opportunities it gives students through scholarships, unconditional support, and exquisite American education.
