Meet Kristi Nikolla, Senior Software Engineer at Boston University

Hi everyone, I am Kristi Nikolla, and I have graduated with a Computer Science degree from the University of New York Tirana.

I chose UNYT because it is the best university in Albania, and also all classes are in English. Most importantly, the American Diploma was worth it and gave me an edge in getting accepted for post-graduate education.

UNYT encouraged independent thinking and collaboration with other students. This was and still is very important to me. The system of education is also very similar to the USA, so the transition was seamless.
For all students who want to go into the IT sector, I would like to advise you to take the time to learn the foundations well. Technologies change all the time, but the basics stay the same. There is no shame in searching for things on Google, I still do.
