Traditional learning vs. E-Learning – Debate Club UNYT

Today, UNYT Debate Club organized for the first time online a discussion on one of the most important topics of the moment: E-Learning and how does it compare to the traditional way of on-campus instruction. The participants divided into two opposite sides: pro and against e-learning brought to the table the best arguments and managed to pursue a fruitful discussion not only among them but also with the professors, students, and staff that joined during the meeting. The interest in the event was considerably high, not only to show and develop our students’ skills in critical thinking and public speaking but also to get their opinion on the e-learning methods being currently implemented by UNYT since the beginning of the quarantine. With that being said, we are looking forward to the next debate, with a fresh new topic and certainly with more students joining the club.
