Proud of our students – Erveina Gosalci

University of New York Tirana is proud to announce that Ms Erveina Gosalci, our Valedictorian alumna has been recently appointed as the Director of Business Development of the acclaimed newspaper “HILL Times”. You’ll be able to read below a short bio of her path to success:

Erveina has more than 16 years of working experience in education, NGO-s, public diplomacy, human resources, and practising law. She worked for the British Council in Albania and led a youth network of thousand activists named Let’s Get Started, with the mission to empower youth. Due to her role in organizing youth leadership activities, she has been invited as a consultant for Youth Voice Initiative by the World Bank and a member of Youth Communication Network of the World Health Organization. She holds an LLM (Valedictorian) from the University of New York in Tirana, in International and Commercial Law. Before moving to Canada in 2016, Erveina worked in the higher education sector in Kosovo, most notably for University for Business and Technology as Lecturer and Project Manager. In collaboration with Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES), she founded the International Summer Academy on Citizens’ Diplomacy, supporting track two diplomacy efforts for peace and reconciliation in South-Eastern Europe. Currently, she is doing PhD studies at Carleton University focused on Cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, E-Health and Critical Infrastructure in the Health Sector.
