Academic Roundtable for stronger academic cooperation between universities
Today we had the pleasure to have the presence of the three distinguished Dutch Professors i.e. Prof. Dr. Johan Wempe, Chair of Business Ethics, Management and Organizations from Vrije University Amsterdam, Dr. Willeke Slingerland and Doc. Dr. Frank Diepenmaat from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
During the round table, the guest academicians emphasized the necessity for a stronger collaboration between the academic institutions and the establishment of an integrity system which the main focus enchantment of professionalism and scientific research. In his welcoming statement, the Rector of UNYT Prof. Dr. Ismail Kocayusufoglu stated that nowadays in a world where globalization of information is an eminent issue there is a necessity of diversity in the academic sector and we as academicians have to be more attentive towards exchanging practices with experts from different part of the world. Social Capital is a very important thing and if we as academicians work together we can build a great future together said Willeke Slingerland.
In the concluding remarks, it was emphasized that the institutions’ agenda of the participants was the further enrichment of international cooperation and a door was left open to possible collaboration between the three friend institutions.
