Together we are Stronger

Mr. Fatih Cankurt, Director of the Turkish Maarif Foundation branch in Albania and Prof. Dr. Ismail Kocayusufoğlu, Rector of “University of New York Tirana”, visited the areas and families affected by the earthquake in Durres district today. During the meeting with the Deputy Mayor of Durres, Mr. Florian Tahiri, they expressed their readiness to help their brothers, the Albanian people. In addition to the concrete assistance of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for the construction of 500 housing, along with health, support and humanitarian relief, “Turk Maarif Foundation” will also help in the recovery of the affected area after the earthquake.

Students of the Turkish Maarif Foundation in Albania will also assist in the distribution of the aid from the Turkish Red Crescent.
