Business Information Systems class visits Albtelecom Sh.a.

Business Information Systems class of Spring ’19, UNYT during their on-site visit at Albtelecom Sh.a. premises.

This open session was aimed at instilling an appreciation of how technology can be used to assist business, without the technology becoming an end in itself. In particular, the presentations of Albtelecom’ Head of BSS/OSS, Head of IT and Head of BI Service Delivery and R&D, synthesized the importance of information to decision-making through interesting use-cases.

Students gained a real-world understanding of business systems applicability and their cross-functional influence on business stakeholders; customers, suppliers, manufacturers, service makers, regulators, managers, and employees. The visit was concluded with a welcoming and friendly tour into their office’s spaces.
