The University of New York Tirana (UNYT) has strengthened its international partnerships by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Necmettin Erbakan University in Türkiye. The agreement, signed today by UNYT Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Güneș, and Necmettin Erbakan University Rector, Prof. Dr. Cem Zorlu, aims to enhance collaboration in education and scientific research. Prof. Dr. Cem Zorlu, former Chairman of the Executive Board of the Turkish Maarif Foundation, brings extensive experience in fostering international academic partnerships.
The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Firat Yaldiz, General Coordinator of the International Relations Office, alongside key representatives from both institutions, including UNYT Administrator Mr. M.Enes Durmuş, Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Nertila Gjini, Dean of the Faculty of Economy and Business Prof. Assoc. Dr. Juna Miluka, and Dean of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences Prof. Assoc. Dr. Enila Cenko. The event was also attended by members of the academic and administrative staff of UNYT, highlighting the university’s commitment to fostering international collaboration.
This MoU facilitates student and faculty exchanges, joint research initiatives, academic conferences, and shared scientific resources, fostering academic cooperation between the two universities.
