We are delighted to share that Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zeki Ibrahimgil, a distinguished member of the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO, recently held an open lecture at our East Campus. Organized by the Balkan Research Center, the lecture focused on the "Current Situation of Ottoman Cultural Heritage in Albania."
During the session, Prof. Dr. Ibrahimgil provided an in-depth analysis of the historical and cultural significance of Ottoman heritage sites in Albania. He highlighted the challenges and opportunities in preserving these invaluable landmarks and underscored their importance in the broader context of Balkan history.
