General Remarks
Upon successful completion of this program students will be able to:

  • Students pursuing a concentration in English Language and Literature will become knowledgeable in various literary genres of both English and American literature. As such, through the study of literary works written both in prose and poetry, students will improve their analytical and critical thinking skills as well as their command of the English language.
  • Students will further get familiar with the particularities of second language acquisition, the didactics, methods and approaches of teaching English as a second language.
